Beloved,
Grace to you and peace from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe God that Part One of this message was a blessing to you. I thank those of you who wrote to say how you were blessed reading it.
As I promised, here is Part 2 of the message. In a vision I had a few days ago, the Lord further highlighted to me the amazing pre-eminent place and power of the word of God. For want of space, I will not share the vision itself, but will give you the summary of the message the Lord gave me from it, saying: “Never compromise the word of God for any outward manifestation. My word produces manifestation with good fruit in and through the lives of My people. Know that outward manifestation alone can be sourced from Satan, and this produces deception, confusion, and every other bad fruit, i.e., the works of the flesh. My people are playing down on the truth and power of My word to pursue deceptive outward manifestations. But My word is the key—the only key to everything I have ever done, will do, or call anyone to do for Me. So I say to you, study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. In My word, you find answers to the issues of life. My Spirit works with My word to bring about genuine manifestation, with good fruit that will abound to My glory.” Understand that God delights in confirming His word with signs following (Mark 16:20). But all these should still be clearly led of the Holy Spirit, using vessels that are totally yielded to God—His word and His ways of doing things.
Realise that we can never go wrong studying, meditating and using God’s word in dealing with issues of life. We cannot go wrong reading life-changing, anointed, scripture-based, books or listening to anointed Spirit-led, scripture-based messages or music. These are all very beneficial. I thank God for the testimonies we receive from people who have been impacted through our Ministry—through our books, music, other publications and messages, etc. All these humble us and further increase our hunger for more of God’s presence and His word in our lives. Know that the more yielded you are in pursuing God, loving Him, and walking in His fear by genuinely obeying Him, the more His character is developed in you. Thus, you are able to accurately discern, as well as operate freely and effectively in His genuine ministry of signs, wonders and miracles.
It is pertinent to stress that the word of God has invaluable benefits to our lives. I dare say that the word of God is the only substance or medicine, as the Bible calls it, that you can overdose on without any resultant negative side-effects. God, Himself gave instructions to all He has called to follow and/or serve Him, saying: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (Joshua 1:8). It is amazing to discover that God’s word deals with our present, past, and future experiences, dilemmas, and problems. It also provides valuable insight and wisdom to help us identify, and guard against errors and other destructive patterns en-route our journey to our ‘promised land.’
Among its awesome benefits, it is vital to say that the word of God has creative power. It can dissect, operate, and at the same time create new things that never existed before. Thus, we read, “For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12, AMP). It can’t get any clearer than this to see what we can gain by adequately double-taking on the word this year, using it to analyze and effectively deal with issues we confront. Whether you need healing in your body, or deliverance, or any other form of breakthrough, God’s word (His wisdom) has an answer to your dilemma.
Here are some more benefits of the word of God: The word of God is the bread of life: “…That He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord … The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (Deut. 8:3; Matt. 4:4; John 6:63). It is the dividing line between life and death, between blessings and curses: “But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil … life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live … He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he” (Deuteronomy 30:14-15, 19; Proverbs 16:20).
The word of God brings protection: “He who despises the word will be destroyed, But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded … By the word of Your lips I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer” (Proverbs 13:13; Psalm 17:4). The word of God brings cleansing from sin and is also an antidote to sin: “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You” (Psalm 119:11).
The word of God brings refreshing: “Revive me according to Your word” (Psalm 119:25). The word of God brings salvation: “Let Your mercies come also to me, O Lord – Your salvation according to Your Word … The word is near you … that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Psalm 119:41; Romans 10:8-9). The word of God gives illumination and direction in life: “Your word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path … Direct my steps by Your word” (Psalm 119:105, 133). The word of God brings light and understanding: “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple” (Psalm 119:130). The word of God brings deliverance: “He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions … Let my supplication come before You; Deliver me according to Your word” (Psalm 107:20; 119:170).
