Grace and peace of Almighty God be multiplied and your family in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
It is with joy I write to you the concluding part of this message, “The lifestyle of a true winner.” But, before we get onto it, let me share a few other things with you. May I say that that we truly serve an awesome and mighty God! Indeed, we thank God for the open door of ministry He granted us last week to minister on television through the Gospel channel Europe. We bless Him for the amazing and glorious time we had in Iceland as my husband and I ministered on the Gospel channel Europe 3 Days Live Broadcasts (11th to 13th May) to a potential audience of 13.6 million people. Many lives were saved, healed, delivered, and blessed in many ways through this programme. We thank Him for the extended favour granted us to have many re-broadcasts of this programme subsequently so that many more people could connect to it. In fact, we are so amazed as to how so many people received our ministrations on television and even desiring to have the programme re-broadcast again so they can keep watching it.
One of the amazing testimonies we received was from a lady based here in the U.K. who was not accustomed to watching programmes like this, but for some reason she turned on her television set and came across the programme and heard me preaching on “Anointed vessels shale off the viper and fill no harm.” She told me that on hearing that, she just sat right there glued as it were to her TV set until the entire show was over. She told me of how greatly blessed she was listening to the programme and wish she could find a way to watch the rest that she did not get to see. What a joy to see the owner of the Gospel channel very delighted about reading my latest book, Unlimited Power Of The Seed, telling how greatly blessed he was reading this highly anointed book. He recommended the book to all the Gospel channel viewers throughout the days of the programme. And now let us get on to the concluding part of our study on the lifestyle of a true winner.
4. A winner is Someone Who Walks in Dominion. God’s sole purpose for creating man is to make him the steward of all that He has made on earth and also get man to walk in ultimate dominion over all the works of His hand. Hence, God gave man this mandate: “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:26-28). A winner never abdicates his place nor give in to the enemy’s tirade or schemes, but rather trusts totally in God’s unfailing power to give him victory over his foes. A winner is bold in his pursuits as he draws wisdom, knowledge, courage and strength day by day from the Lord who leads him from one degree of glory to another. He strives to walk in love, and attain “to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:2-3).
He is fully acquainted with the word of God that says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her. She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you” (Proverbs 4:7-9). A winner recognises that he cannot win in life without operating in the wisdom of God which makes him to be prudent; equips him with the understanding and intelligence he needs to tackle issues that confront him; gives him insight into the true nature of things; enables his mind to think constructively and effectively so as to be able to discern modes of actions that may face him with a view to their results. A winner makes the wisdom of God the principal pursuit in his life, knowing that that is the key to his triumphing in all areas of life. He is also assured that in all issues that confront him in life, God has already reckoned him as more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37), so he races on towards the goal of the upward call in Christ, knowing that He who began a good work in Him will surely perfect it (Philippians 1:6). A winner is an achiever in his chosen endeavours in life. He has no fear of failure because he knows that failure is not an option for him, but victory all the way. So, he faces every battle and every challenge in life with a mindset to win and actually succeeds where others have failed.
5. A Winner is Someone with Supernatural Vision. The ability to see beyond the natural is a great asset. This is what truly distinguishes between achievers and non-achievers. A winner looks beyond the obvious, not moved by facts, but by acute revelation of insights gained from God through intimate fellowship. As I mentioned previously, a winner sees challenges as opportunities to prove God’s faithfulness in his life. He sees problems and trials as stepping stones to greater victories and promotion. So, he confidently embraces them in the wisdom and strength of the Lord, learning whatever lesson needs to be learned through them, and finally coming through them victoriously. A winner lives by faith and not by sight. He takes heed to the Biblical injunction that charges us to not lose heart nor faint in battle, saying, “Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).
A winner is only encouraged and challenged by the lifestyles of other winners who have also made it in life in the right way. That is why a true winner can never envy the ungodly no matter how much they attain in life. Here is God’s command to the winner: “1 Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more (Psalm 37:1-10).
The ability to see beyond the natural gives a winner an edge over his adversary. It arms him with the grace and faith needed to intimidate every intimidator and win in life. A winner stays close to God no matter the cost. He daily chases after God with all His might to receive supernatural insight needed for every battle in life and to gain every victory. A winner wins to help others win in their own lives too. Hence, his victories serve as a platform for others to climb on to win in any given situation, anytime, anywhere. So, we can boldly say, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” (2 Corinthians 2:14).
I encourage you to dare to be a winner wherever you are. Reach out for it. You have all it takes, for with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27). Hallelujah!
